Ski areas and alpine skiing around the Hotel Lampenhäusl in the ski areas Zell am See - Kaprun and Saalbach - Hinterglemm

The region "Bruck Fusch Großglockner" is in the immediate vicinity of the original "Europa Sport Region Zell am See Kaprun". Why was this name? Probably because the sports opportunities in the ski area are so incomparable as rarely anywhere else in Europe. And yet the region has not stopped and has now risen to form a breathtaking ski network with Zell am See - Kaprun, Saalbach - Hinterglemm, Leogang and Fieberbrunn.

The season starts early

This already starts at a time when in other regions can only dream about skiing. When summer is just saying goodbye in the valley, the winter season starts in the Kitzsteinhorn glacier ski area. You can already make the first turns of the season on the glacier while you watch the sailing boats on Lake in Zell am See. The Kitzsteinhorn remains a guarantee for great slopes and fat powder throughout the season. Due to the high location it is very snow reliable.

In the main ski season, the Schmittenhöhe in Zell am See invites you to long days of skiing full of sun and fun on the slopes. The Schmitten is a family ski area where everyone can have fun. From beginners to professionals, every alpine skier will find his or her destiny on the Schmitten. The most breathtaking thing about the Schmitten is the great view on the Lake in Zell am See and the glacier world of the Hohe Tauern.

Also very close

The good is so close. The Maiskogel family ski area is just around the corner in Kaprun. Known as the family mountain in summer, the Maiskogel is also a paradise for young and old in winter. Manageable dimensions, great snow, beautiful slopes and casual huts with great views of the valley. While the sun goes down in the Oberpinzgau in the evening, you can wag down to the valley in a relaxed manner - the drive to the Hotel Lampenhäusl is not far. Even if it's not far, you don't have to drive yourself. A free ski bus runs from Fusch to Kaprun and Zell am See   - you can leave your car.

One of the largest ski areas in Austria

If you would like to cover even more kilometers of slopes, it is best to go to Saalbach - Hinterglemm, Leogang, Fieberbrunn, which is also around the corner.
With the Zell am See Xpress, the ski areas of Zell am See and Saalbach Hinterglemm have grown together, Saalbach - Hinterglemm promise incredibly long and wide slopes and lots of great freeride descents, on which you can pull one or the other first "line". Those who prefer to start their day of skiing directly in Saalbach can drive their own car to the Schönleitenbahn, 30 km away, and get into the ski area.

Winter in the region "Bruck Fusch Großglockner" means skiing holidays. With us, the winter and slope wonderland of the Salzburg region is practically at your feet.
Get involved and come to the Hotel Lampenhäusl - we look forward to warm welcoming you soon.
