Käfertal – nature-experience way

The Käfertal nature experience way applies in the Käfertal at the foot of the Grossglocknermassives. Beginning from the toll place of Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse (parking bays are accessible freely of toll and toll-free) the main way on an almost level forest way (baby carriage) leads in the direction of valley end to the red moss. In different stations specific features of this valley are given an understanding by diagrammes and play stations.

Stations:
Tauernhouse, Tauernsäumer, Mankeibau with the Oberstattalm, alp economy, climbing rock and beetle labyrinth, play of water place, dominating summits and national park Hohe Tauern. Then at the valley end a forest way leads more than approx. 350 metres height to the managed Traunerlalm. Nevertheless, one can also drive by the coach from toll station Ferleiten to the Hochmais and walk from there to the Trauneralm or red moss in the valley.

Tip: With the toll station there is the game park and leisure park Ferleiten.


Water experience way -Walcheralm

Start: Ferleiten 1.149 m
Walcher high-level alp: 1.853 m
Waterfall: 1.731 m

Starting point:
You go to Ferleiten about the bridge, enterprise you here your tour and follow you the marks. After a wandering of approx. 2 hours one reaches the way by the waterfall. The water masses fall directly before the visitor down, it is a true experience. Staying behind the falling water looks extremely reassuring.

Experience way height promenade

Along the height promenade between Schmittenhöhe and Sonnkogel numerous diagrammes inform. Therefore experience way offers "to height promenade" beside the rest also the possibility to develop an understanding for the nature.

Physical teaching way Klammsee - Bürgkogel

1-hrs walking time, 2.5 km, 12 stations.

Senses experience park Leogang

Directly in the middle station a field of experience of the senses with more than 25 stations has originated during the past years. The stations in the senses-experience park (e.g., barefooted way, gigantic hand, optical phenomena, listening island, tree of perfume, pirouette...) load one for the deliberate seeing - Smell hearing - feeling - - Taste. Explore with the sense experience park also to the herbs and Alpine plants way (approx. 100 remedial plants and herbs) and Leo's water world, e.g., with barefooted way by the water and passable waterfall. With us you leave behind the stress in the valley and everybody experiences his senses more clearly, children and adults recognise the valency of the nature and her elements for us people anew.

Nature trail walking to the strength places of the nature
